Sunday Ramblings

I cannot believe how quickly this whole year has gone. The countdown has begun to 2020, and for me that means a multitude of things. One of which is my discovery of book challenges. My 30 year old daughter told me about them before but I hadn't really looked into the concept for myself. Shame on me!!

Well let me tell you I am completely awestruck by the sheer number of challenges that are available. I simply had no idea that this was something that was so prevalent among the readers of the world. I thought myself a pretty prolific reader, but apparently I'm a slug compares to most readers. I am setting out to rectify that situation. I even found a challenge for how many challenges you enter and complete. It is the"Reading Challenge Addict 2020" link given below. That is the ultimate!! Anyway I'm finding it difficult to wade through all of the available challenges, and finally decide on a what I'm entering.

Actually it's kind of funny, or better yet ironic. Simply deciding on what challenge(s) I enter may end up being my greatest challenge overall. LOL!! Those that know me would tell you that I am perhaps not the most decisive person on the planet. I hem and haw over making a decision about almost anything. Then of course there is my gung ho, balls to wall, one is never enough kind of attitude when it comes to starting any kind of project. For example I once saw a YouTube video of a gal making beautiful roses from duct tape. Well I decided I simply had to learn how to do that. WELL.....that necessitated my buying a special quilters cutting mat so I could measure, cut and still lift the pieces of tape. Then new cutting blade, and the appropriate blades for said cutting tools. Oh and let's not forget about the duct tape. Turns out duct tape comes in a multitude of colors and patterns. No exaggeration, but I probably have at least 50 rolls of duct tape laying around the house. I tend to get really involved with things. LOL!!

Well for now I'm back to my researching. I'm narrowing it down slowly, but surely. I'll be sure to pass along my final list by New Years Eve. Be sure to keep an out for any cool challenges I could have missed and please pass them on. Night All!!!

Mama Llama lloves you llots.

I'd love to hear about what you think about the book in question or about the comments I've left. I'm always up for a lively conversation.
